Rexadine 5L

Antiseptic, disinfectant for general surgery and clinical surface disinfection of equipment (eg operating tables), disinfection of instruments (except those containing cemented glass), and pre-operative skin preparation. Composition: Chlorhexidine gluconate 50g/L.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

General antiseptic: dilute 20mL of Rexadine Concentrate in 1 litre of clean water to produce 0.1% w/v aqueous solution.

For pre-operative skin preparation, instrument disinfection, equipment surface disinfection: Dilute 10mL of Rexadine Concentrate with 15mL of water and make up to 100mL with industrial methylated spirit to make 0.5% w/v in 70% w/v alcoholic solution.

Note: the 0.1% w/v aqueous solution should be discarded after one month and 0.5% w/v in 70% w/v alcoholic solutions should not be used after 12 months.
