If you include a customer note to leave the order in a safe place they will not leave it and you will have to pick it up from the post office if you are left with a card in your mailbox. Salmonella infections are most severe in newborn foals and protection by transfer of maternal antibody in colostrum is essential for protection of young foals.

Dosage and Administration: 2ml by deep intramuscular injection preferably in the rump.

Mares: Previously unvaccinated and not pregnant - two injections four weeks apart before mating. Vaccinated pregnant mares: single booster dose six weeks before foaling to maximise colostral antibody levels for the newborn foal.

**Vaccination is not recommended within four weeks of foaling. Unvaccinated pregnant mares: Two doses one month apart, give last injection six weeks before foaling**

Foals: Foals more than four months of age develop an immune response when vaccinated. Give two doses four weeks apart for primary vaccination; give a third dose six months after the second injection. Annual booster doses are recommended to maintain a high level of immunity.
